There’s a good chance you won’t find a gym of this quality even in the more higher priced commercial gyms, such is the sheer awesomeness of the Inspire M4. But why do I sing its praises so loudly? Find out in my Inspire M4 Review below….

My review of the Inspire M4

After being lucky enough to give the M4 a try, the one thing that impressed me most about this home gym was the iso-lateral movement. Each side of the body takes 50% of the load during iso lateral movements, this promotes muscle balance and co-ordination.

Another thing that stood out for me was how solid this unit was. I sometimes feel cautious when I’m working out hard on a home gym, but not this one. A good tester to see how sturdy a home gym can be is to push on it to see if it sways. Well, I pushed pretty hard on this thing and it hardly batted an eyelid. It’s made of 11 gauge tubular steel with a maintenance free powder coated finish, which is sure to keep it looking  new for a considerable length of time.

The max resistance on the Inspire M4 is 215 lbs which isn’t ideal for a 1000lb gorilla, but for the average guy like me it’s more than enough to keep me satisfied. I also liked the ease in which you can switch resistance, incline, and also stations without much effort at all. You can be working the bench press and go straight into the lat pull down in a matter of seconds.

That brings me onto my next point on the sheer array of exercises you can perform on this thing. You have multiple stations that can cater for several different exercises. The Inspire M4 also has some neat little features that add to its innovative design. For instance, the lat tower splits as a cable crossover station, and the bench simply swings out to the side allowing easy access to the high pulley system so you can perform your squats, cable crossovers and more.

The Inspire M4 is one of the smoothest machines I’ve ever had the pleasure to test out. The ergonomics of this thing are incredible. Very slick indeed.

To be honest, I haven’t tried many better than the Inspire M4. It’s simply one of the best multi-gyms around that’s for sure. If you have the space and can pay more for a home gym then it’s well worth the list price of $4495. Amazon are currently selling this gym for $3995, but I don’t know how long that’s going to last, so I’d act fast! The Inspire M3 is another option at $3195, so take a look at that too.

  1. This product is nothing short of amazing. Although putting it together was a big challenge, it took me and my son three days; I would go through it again. The machine is made of durable materials. If you want a machine which will last you a long time even if you use it on a daily basis, this is the one you should get. I can promise you that you will never regret buying this product. I never did and I am quite sure I never will. The Inspire M4 has features which other machines do not have. It has upper pulleys which can be easily adjusted. The dual adjustable pulleys also allow you to do a variety of training exercises. This is indeed the best hybrid in the exercise equipment world.
