My Review of Bowflex Extreme 2 SE Home Gym

Bowflex are renowned for their home gyms and this one does not disappoint. The equipment is very easy to put together and all the parts are sturdy and heavy duty. However, it takes hours to assemble it completely. Instructions are very easy to understand but it does take some time to put everything together.

The equipment’s LAT tower can be easily adjusted to two different positions. If you want strong and muscular legs, you can use the leg extension. For strong and well-defined abs, you can use the abdominal crunch shoulder harness. For building quads, glutes and hamstrings, you can use the 4-position lower pulley/squat station.

There are lots of exercise machines out there which can be very uncomfortable, but this machine has an ergonomic seat which can be adjusted easily. The polyurethane cushion makes even sitting for hours very comfortable.

Bowflex Extreme 2 SE Home Gym comes with patented Power Rods which offers resistance that is just as good as or maybe even better than free weights. If you want more resistance, all you need to do is just increase the number of Power Rod units. This unit comes with 210 pounds of resistance, but it is still upgradable to 410 pounds. The Power Rods are made of high-quality materials which have been sheathed and tested multiple times. The best thing about the Power Rods is that they lessen the risks of joint pains which are mostly associated with free weights.
